In April 2005, the first release was made for submission for credit. Since then, Justin Francis has been refactoring and adding new features in no particular rush.

Features

Share Tasks

Ever wanted to tell people to do something but not want to talk them? Well, with proTask, you can simply create a new task and assign it electronically to those people! The delegated tasks appears only on their list of things to do, and not yours.

Additionally, by sharing categories, users can collaborate on a group of tasks so they can all see progress being made.

Search for Tasks

If you have ever wanted to know exactly what has to be done in the next hour, and are frantically looking through a pile of post-its, you need proTask. proTask allows you to search on a huge range of options. Moreover, you may save your search options so that at the click of button, your search will be re-performed without having to re-enter any options!

Categorize Tasks

proTask gives you the power to group your tasks into different categories. These categories are completely customized and any task can be in as many categories as you would like!

Add Files to Tasks

With this latest feature, you can upload files into your task list and associate them with files and categories! You'll never go looking through a file cabinet again!

Web Interface

proTask uses a simple, intuitive web interface. This means it can be viewed from anywhere you have access to the internet provided it is setup correctly. Teams can collaborate across continents to get projects completed!
